Transport Operations Manager (Roads) is responsible for oversee all aspects of the transportation department, including but not limited to: budgeting, scheduling, route planning, fleet maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations work closely with other departments within the company to ensure efficient and cost effective operations develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and optimize resources monitor trends and developments in the transportation industry and make recommendations for changes or improvements to management prepare and submit reports on the department’s activities, progress, and problems encountered investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding transportation services supervise the work of transportation personnel and provide training and development opportunities as needed evaluate employee performance and take disciplinary action when necessary plan and coordinate special events or projects as needed manage the department’s budget and control costs within their professional field.
