These terms apply to your use of the KeSCO Explorer and Career Navigator services (including dashboards and read-only API integrations). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

• You must use the service in compliance with applicable laws and institutional policies.
• If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate information where requested.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, data, or systems.
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest content at a rate that disrupts the service.
• Upload or submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
• Misuse the service to misrepresent occupational classifications or recommendations.
• Interfere with or degrade platform security, performance, or integrity.

• KeSCO taxonomy content is provided as a national occupational classification reference.
• Career Navigator outputs are generated from your responses and configured mappings/rules.
• We strive for accuracy, but classifications, mappings, and guidance may evolve over time.

• The service UI, software, and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• KeSCO taxonomy and related public-sector materials may be subject to government data and reuse policies.
• You may not reproduce or redistribute restricted content except as permitted by applicable licensing or written authorization.

• API access may require approval and issuance of client credentials.
• You must keep API keys confidential and rotate keys if compromised.
• We may enforce rate limits, monitor usage, and suspend keys for abuse or security risks.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information. By using the service, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

• The service may be updated, improved, or modified to enhance performance and security.
• We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance or incident response.
• Features, endpoints, and configurations may change as policies and standards evolve.

• The service is provided “as is” and “as available”.
• Career guidance outputs are informational and do not guarantee employment outcomes.
• External links/integrations are provided for convenience and may have separate terms.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or business arising from use of the service.

• We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe there is misuse, abuse, or a security risk.
• We may disable API credentials if compromised or used in violation of policy.
• Where appropriate, we may provide notice and steps for remediation.

These terms are governed by applicable laws and policies of the Republic of Kenya and relevant institutional regulations.
